About us

We provide complete battery testing centres, build clean rooms and dry rooms as well as vacuum dryers for battery production – always with the highest standards of quality and a focus on reproducible processes.

Weiss Technik builds dry room systems tailored to individual requirements, taking into account all testing requirements and battery cell characteristics in their design. Our dry rooms are designed for maximum energy efficiency – this noticeably improves the well-to-wheel balance of the manufacturing process and brings a measurable advantage.

Vacuum drying technology is indispensable in the final step of electrode production. Vacuum dryers with temperature controlled recirculating air perform this process particularly efficiently. Weiss Technik designs and builds these customised vacuum dryers that can be integrated into production lines and research facilities as required.

Weiss Technik's sophisticated testing technology tests the safety, reliability and performance of electrical energy storage systems under all thermal, climatic and mechanical loads. Our range includes a large selection of proven standard test chambers as well as the planning and implementation of individual test chambers and rooms as a single-source supplier, and the planning of laboratories with the integration of central cooling units.

A strong sales and service organisation with 22 companies in 15 countries at 40 locations supports our customers and ensures the operation of the systems – around the globe, at all times. The Weiss Technik companies are part of the Schunk Group based in Heuchelheim, Germany.
